Doel van de cursus (alleen in het Engels beschikbaar)

  • Reflect on (legal) problems from the perspective of a number of other academic disciplines
  • Work with varying perspectives from different academic disciplines
  • Apply and integrate at least one non-legal discipline into her /his legal academic research


Inhoud van de cursus (alleen in het Engels beschikbaar)

Provides insight into the purposes, possibilities, limitations and methodological questions of the types of research regarding other disciplines. Provides insight into the manners in which other academic disciplines could be integrated into the interdisciplinary study of legal problems. Reflects on (legal) problems from the perspective of a number of other academic disciplines . Trains students to work with varying perspectives from different academic disciplines. Tends to apply and integrate at least one non-legal discipline into the students' legal academic research. Provides introductions to a number of auxiliary disciplines: political theory and ethics, legal history, law and economics, and socio-legal studies.


Bijzonderheden (alleen in het Engels beschikbaar)

In cooperation with Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. Seminars and meetings are partly organised in Tilburg, partly in Leuven (intensive week will be in Leuven in 2018)
