Testing
The final grade is determined using the exam grade and the average tutorial grade. Each tutorial the student receives a grade, consisting of (i) 2 points if the homework is completed using pencil and paper, plus (ii) a maximum of 8 points scored on a short mc test at the end of the tutorial. The average tutorial grade is the average over all tutorials after deleting the worst score for one tutorial.

The final grade is determined as follows. If the exam grade is higher than the average tutorial grade, then the final grade equals the exam grade, else the final grade equals (2*exam grade + average tutorial grade)/3.
